Today we’ve prepared vanilla cubes with pineapple flavour, which are unbeatable once out of the fridge. We make them for almost every party and everyone asks me which candy store I buy it from. They are really delicious!
Vanilla cubes with pineapple flavor:
What we will need:
Dough:
- 100 grams of semi-coarse flour
- 3 eggs
- 70 grams of sugar
- pinch of salt
- one packet of baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
- bottle of vanilla essence
Vanilla filling:
- one litre of milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 200 grams of starch
- 200 grams of icing sugar
- 100 grams of butter
- 4 packets of vanilla sugar.
- Pineapple compote
- whipping cream (whipping cream)
How we will proceed:
- Put semi-coarse flour, baking powder in a deeper bowl. In another bowl, beat the egg whites and gradually beat in the egg yolks, a pinch of salt, icing sugar and finally the egg yolks using a mixer.
- At the next stage, sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture through a fine sieve and mix. The last ingredient is the sunflower oil. When all the ingredients are combined, a smooth and semi-fluid dough is formed. Pour the batter onto a 20 x 25 cm baking tray that you have previously lined with baking paper. Later, place the dough in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 °C. Meanwhile, prepare the vanilla cream.
- Mix the starch and milk in a small saucepan and heat over a low heat.
- Then add the egg yolks, 200 g of sugar, the vanilla sugar and stir until thickened. When the filling is thick, take it off the stove and let it cool.
- At the last stage, whisk in the softened butter.
- The cream is ready. Once baked, remove the crust from the oven and let it cool for a while. Then drizzle it with pineapple juice and layer the vanilla cream evenly on top.
- Finally, decorate the cake with whipped cream.
