Ribs on beer
What we will need:
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 1 glass of beer
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil (can be olive or vegetable)
How we will proceed:
1. Marinate the ribs whole in the marinade. The ribs will fall apart on their own after cooking.
2. Mix beer, mustard and oil in a bowl.
3. Wash the ribs and season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Coarsely chop the onion and mix all three ingredients well. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
6. Place the ribs and the marinade in a deeper baking dish or baking tray and immerse the whole ribs in the marinade. Then bake, covered, for about an hour. This will help preserve the juiciness of the ribs.
7. Then uncover and bake uncovered until tender.
8. The resulting ribs have a beautiful golden brown colour.
9. If you don’t know if they are done, try turning one of the bones – it shouldn’t be too difficult.
Good taste!
