Homemade spreads are a very popular part of celebrations and parties. They are very easy to make sandwiches or one-pot meals with, and serve just as well as breakfast. This homemade cheese spread with spring onions is great on freshly baked bread. Its preparation is very simple, quick and the resulting taste is incredible.
Homemade cottage cheese spread with spring onions:
What we will need:
- 250 g soft cottage cheese
- 2 spring onions
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lemons (juice)
- 1 KL worcestershire sauce
- salt, pepper to taste
How we will proceed:
1. Remove the roots from the spring onions, wash them well and chop them into as small pieces as possible.
2. In a bowl, beat the cottage cheese with the oil, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce and add the chopped spring onions.
3. Taste the spread and season with salt and pepper.
4. Spread on toast or fresh bread and serve with fresh vegetables.
