Delicious coconut bun with eggnog:
What we will need:
For the dough:
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 and 1/2 cups milk
- 2 and 1/2 cups semi-coarse flour
- baking powder
- eggnog to taste
For the sprinkles:
- 1/2 cup coconut
- semolina sugar to taste
After baking:
- whipping cream
- coconut
How we will proceed:
1. Beat the eggs with the icing sugar until foamy, add the melted butter, milk and finally lightly whisk in the semi-coarse flour mixed with baking powder and eggnog.
2. Place the dough in a taller baking tray with baking paper and sprinkle with coconut and sugar.
3. Bake at 175 degrees for about 20 minutes, but watch that the coconut doesn’t brown.
4. After baking, immediately drizzle the cake with whipped cream and sprinkle with more coconut.
