Vanilla roll with jam and coconut
What we will need:
- 5 eggs
- 5 tablespoons icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 5 tablespoons plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- marmalade to taste
Filling:
- 125 g butter
- 100 g icing sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla custard
- 300 ml milk
- coconut for sprinkling
How we will proceed:
1. Beat 5 egg yolks with 5 tablespoons of icing sugar, then slowly whisk in 2 tablespoons of oil, 5 tablespoons of whole wheat flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. Finally, gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
2. Spread the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 180 degrees. Roll them up while still hot and leave to cool.
