If you don’t know what to prepare for lunch, try this recipe for delicious roast minced meat with cheese. You’ll get a delicious dish to suit the whole family’s taste. The dish will take only a few minutes to prepare and you will have a delicious, wholesome lunch.
Roast minced meat with cheese
What we will need:
- 4 large potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 500 g beef
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 250 g grated cheddar cheese
- 4 hot peppers
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin
How we will proceed:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes. Spread them on a baking sheet, brush with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
2. Put the remaining butter and olive oil in a pan on the stove. Once the butter has melted and the oil is hot, add the minced meat and let it sear until it changes color.
3. Add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes and finely chopped peppers. When the tomatoes have released their juice and the peppers have softened, turn the stove on low heat and add the paprika and cumin. Cover the pan with a lid and leave it on the stove for another 5-6 minutes.
4. Grease the pan in which you will prepare this recipe with a little butter or oil. Place half of the potatoes in the bottom of the pan, add the mince mixture on top and spread evenly. Place the remaining potatoes on top of the meat and sprinkle with cheese.
5. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 17-18 minutes. Remove the mixture from the oven when the cheese is well browned.
