Recipe for custard cubes with apple filling:
What we will need:
Dough:
- 500 g plain flour
- 250 g butter
- salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- bag of baking powder
- 150 ml warm water
Cream:
- 2 sachets of vanilla pudding
- 500 ml milk
- 7 tablespoons sugar
apple filling:
- 1 kg apples
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- lemon juice
How we will proceed:
1. Start by sifting the flour. Next, add the baking powder, butter, sugar, salt and warm water. Mix everything thoroughly to form a smooth and fluffy dough. Place the mixture in the fridge for 15 minutes.
2. After 15 minutes, take out and divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
3. Next, prepare the pudding as you know it. Continue with the apples, which you peel and grate. Mix them with the lemon juice and cook on low heat for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Roll out the dough. Place the first part on a baking sheet that you have lined with baking paper. Place the apple mixture on top of the dough and then place the sheet of dough on top of the mixture again. Then place the vanilla cream on top of the dough and cover with the last sheet of dough.
5. Bake at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Finally, decorate with icing sugar.
