Today’s recipe for a luxurious poppy seed cake, we borrowed in our Facebook group Prima cookbook from our reader Romana Važanská, thank you. The preparation is very easy and time-saving. Luxurious poppy seed cake:
- 300 g of plain flour
- 150 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 70 ml oil
- 250 – 300 ml milk
- 1 baking powder
- 1 van. of sugar
- lemon zest
- 200 g ground poppy seeds
1. Start by simply mixing all the dry ingredients. Then, in a second bowl, mix the milk and oil and add to the dry mixture.
2. Mix thoroughly and pour into a greased and floured baking tin.
3. Bake at 180-190 degrees for about 45 minutes. Use a skewer to test if the cake is done. After baking and cooling, baste with sugar.
