My grandmother used to make this homemade bread and it will really last you all week. I have been making it for 20 years and recommend it to anyone who wants honest homemade bread. Homemade bread
What we will need:
- 3 cups plain flour 00
- 20 g fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon whole caraway seeds
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1 a 1/4 cup water
How we will proceed:
1. Proceed as for the classic dough. Mix the sourdough starter with a little warm water, yeast and sugar.
2. Then work everything together and let rise for at least 3 hours. As a rule, the longer the dough rises, the more holes will appear in it after baking.
3. Shape the dough into loaves and place them on baking paper.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 250 °C for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 220 °C and bake for a further 35 minutes.
5. After removing from the oven, brush the bread with water and leave to cool.
