Cheese wreath with spring onions:
What we will need:
Dough:
- 250 g plain flour
- 250 ml warm milk
- 7 g yeast
- 5 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 20 g spring onions
- pinch of salt
- 5 dried garlic
- 20 g soft butter
Filling:
- 300 g mozzarella
- a pinch of salt, pepper
- 20 g dill
- 1 onion
- 1 egg
- oil for frying
- egg for spreading
How we will proceed:
1. Start by mixing the milk, sugar, yeast.
2. Add the eggs, salt and garlic. Mix thoroughly.
3. Next, add the spring onions and flour.
4. Make a nice smooth dough and let it rise under a tea towel for 30 minutes.
5. Once our dough has risen, roll it out on a floured rolling pin.
6. Moving on to the filling. Simply mix together all the ingredients listed. The onions must be fried in a pan.
7. Then spread the filling evenly over the rolled out dough.
8. Roll up.
9. In the next step, cut the dough lengthwise down the middle.
10. Next, braid and create a beautiful wreath like this.
11. Carefully place it in the prepared tin. which you have buttered and let it rest under a tea towel for another 20 minutes.
12. Finally, spread with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
13. Bake at 180 degrees for approximately 25 minutes.
