Inexpensive homemade cookies:
What we will need:
- 500 g semi-coarse flour
- 170 ml water
- 150 ml oil
- 5 g baking powder
- oil for frying
For the syrup:
- 200 g sugar
- 120 m water
- 25 ml lemon juice
How we will proceed:
1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add the oil and water.

2. Make a nice smooth dough and let it rest under a tea towel for 15 minutes.

3. Next, roll out the dough on a floured rolling pin.

4. Now cut equal sized squares.

5. Next, stack 4 squares on top of each other.

6. Using a cookie cutter, press in the middle.

7. Start frying in hot oil.

8. Now the syrup. Simply start boiling sugar, water and lemon juice over low heat. Boil for about 20 minutes.

9. Then simply toss the cookies in the syrup.
