What we will need:
Dough:
- 400 g semi-coarse flour
- 230 g butter
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 230 g sour cream
- half a cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons starch
Filling:
- 5 apples
- 1 lemon
- 1 cup sugar
How we will proceed:
1. Start by mixing all the ingredients for the dough. Mix thoroughly and work into a smooth dough, separating about 1/3 of the dough and placing it in the freezer. Place the remaining 2/3 in the fridge.
2. Next, wash, peel and grate the apples. Add the lemon juice and sugar.
3. After about 30 minutes, remove both doughs. Place the larger dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the dough and cover with the smaller sheet of dough.
4. Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown. Once removed and cooled, decorate with icing sugar.
