Recipe for delicious biscuits:

What we will need:

  • plain flour – 390 g
  • sugar – 160 g
  • butter – 120 g
  • oil – 75 g
  • baking powder – 10 g
  • vanilla sugar – 5 g
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • milk chocolate – 160 g

How we will proceed:

1. Take the butter out of the fridge to bring it to room temperature. Meanwhile, you can prepare the PET bottle decorator as follows. Remove the lid of the plastic bottle and draw a six-pointed star in the centre of the bottle with a marker. It is easiest to draw two triangles over each other.

2. Use a hacksaw to cut out the star and screw the finished cap back onto the bottle.

3. You can start preparing the dough. Take the softened butter, cut it into smaller cubes and place it in a deep bowl. Add a cup of sugar to it and use a pastry spatula or ladle to thoroughly rub everything together to combine the sugar and butter. Once you are done and the butter mixture is the right consistency, add two whole eggs, three quarters of a cup of vegetable oil and stir until a smooth batter is formed.

4. Add the baking powder, vanilla sugar to the batter and mix well. Finally, add the plain flour and work into a smooth, non-sticky dough which you press into the prepared PET bottle in small batches.

5. As it is more difficult to squeeze into a small neck, you can use a bottle with a wider neck, such as an iced tea bottle.

6. Take a baking tray lined with baking paper. Using the prepared PET bottle, press out strips of dough onto the baking sheet, separating them by two to three centimetres with your finger or a paring knife. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and bake them for 10 to 15 minutes. Leave the finished biscuits to cool and prepare a light icing.

7. Heat the milk chocolate and dip half of each biscuit in it. You can sprinkle the chocolate end with pieces of your favorite nuts or coconut shavings.
