Buttery Pasta in Tomato-Cream Sauce with Cheese
What we will need:
- 200 g pasta + boiling water + 1 tablespoon oil + 1 teaspoon salt
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons oil – for frying
- 1 small onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon chili
- 100 ml milk
- 150 ml cooking cream
- 150 g cheddar cheese
- 150 g mozzarella cheese
- 50 g butter
For garnishing and sprinkling:
- fresh chopped parsley
How we will proceed:
1. In a pot on the stove, pour water, add oil, season with salt and when the water starts to simmer, add pasta, cooking it on medium heat for about 9 minutes, but best al dente. Reserve 100 ml of the cooking water in a bowl.
2. Sauce: In a pan with heated oil, add finely chopped onion and crushed garlic – stir and fry on medium heat for 4 minutes. Then add tomato paste and fry for 4 more minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, sugar, and chili – mix well and add 100 ml of pasta water.
3. Then pour in the milk and cooking cream – stir well, then add the cooked pasta. Then add grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese – mix together.
4. Finally, garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with love, great taste, and pleasure.
