Cocoa-flavoured cheesecake dessert

What we will need:

  • 250 grams of semi-coarse flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 100 grams of semolina sugar
  • 120 grams of butter
  • one egg yolk
  • two tablespoons of sour cream
  • half a teaspoon of baking powder

Filling:

  • 1 kg soft cottage cheese
  • 400 millilitres of whipping cream
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 grams of icing sugar
  • 30 grams of cornstarch
  • 60 grams of coconut flakes

How we will proceed:

1. Sift the semi-coarse flour, icing sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder through a fine sieve into a bowl. Add the egg yolk, softened butter, sour cream to the dry ingredients and mix well with a mixer to make a smooth, stiffer dough.

2. Of course, you can also work it out with a spoon or by hand. Then divide the dough into two parts, one smaller and one larger, and put them in the freezer. Meanwhile, start preparing the cream filling for the dessert.

3. In a deeper bowl, first whip the cream and add the soft cream cheese. Don’t forget to add the icing sugar, cornstarch, eggs and coconut. This will create a creamy mixture for dessert. Remove one large piece of dough from the freezer and use your fingers to spread it evenly in a buttered and floured baking dish.

4. Baking paper can also be used. Spread all the cheesecake filling over the cocoa dough and line the surface with smaller pieces of frozen dough.

5. Place the prepared cake in the oven and bake at 160 °C for about one hour.

6. Serve with freshly whipped cream or fruit.
