Cake with apricots and delicious cream

What we will need:

For the dough:

  • 200 g icing sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100 ml oil
  • 100 ml milk
  • 200 g semi-coarse flour
  • 4 egg whites

For the cream:

  • 250 g soft cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 2 cups of 33% whipped cream
  • 2 packets. whipping cream stiffener
  • Caster sugar to taste
  • Canned apricots and apricot jam

How we will proceed:

1. First, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy and whisk in the oil and milk. Finally, stir in the flour and stiff egg white by hand.

2. Then pour the batter into a greased and floured classic large baking tray and bake at 180 degrees.

3. Drizzle the baked sponge with apricot juice, spread with apricot jam and arrange the drained apricots cut into smaller pieces.
