Simple and quick dessert: Bananas in puff pastry with chocolate and nuts. Who can resist?

Bananas in puff pastry with chocolate and nuts

What we will need:

  • 1 pack rolled puff pastry
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 pcs banana
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg for spreading

How we will proceed:

1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

2. Spread out the rolled puff pastry, sprinkle with vanilla sugar and gently press it into the pastry with a rolling pin. Then cut the pastry into 4 equal strips.

3. Peel the bananas and wrap each one with the puff pastry. Place them on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash and bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, put the butter and chocolate in a small saucepan. Let it melt, stirring constantly. Toast the nuts in a dry pan.

5. Let the baked bananas cool slightly. Then drizzle with chocolate and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve immediately.
