
Today we have prepared a recipe for chicken pieces prepared Chinese style with rice, which is very popular in the world! However, this recipe is more traditional than you think, because we found a variant of it in an old Czech cookbook. In the world, this way of preparation is also called “General Tso’s chicken”.

Chicken pieces prepared Chinese style with rice
What we will need:
- 500 grams of chicken breast
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup corn flour
- 1 egg white
- small piece of fresh ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 medium onions
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 3 tablespoons Hoisen sauce
- 1 and ½ tablespoons sesame oil
- small handful of sesame seeds
How we will proceed:
1. First, clean the chicken breasts and cut them into smaller pieces. Then place them in a bowl and season with soy sauce (2 tbsp), cornflour (3 tbsp) and add egg white. Mix everything well with a spoon and leave to marinate for a few minutes. Meanwhile, peel the garlic and onion and chop both finely. Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
2. Then fry these ingredients in hot sesame oil (1 tsp). When the garlic, onion and ginger turn golden brown, add the chicken pieces to the mixture and fry them together with the spices and Hoisen sauce. Mix well and add more cornflour. Cook the meat mixture for a few minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens completely.
