Montenegrin schnitzel

What we will need:

  • 1 kg pork curry
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tbsp plain flour
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • ground cumin to taste
  • marjoram to taste
  • oil for frying
  • plain flour for coating
  • grated cheese for sprinkling

How we will proceed:

1. Cut the meat into slices, pat them lightly and then season with salt and pepper.

2. Peel the onion and garlic, chop them finely and mix them with 1 egg.

3. Grate the potatoes finely, add the blended onion and garlic, the egg, flour and salt, ground black pepper, ground cumin and marjoram to taste. Mix everything well.

4. Add the flour gradually – you can add or subtract as needed.

5. Coat the cutlets in the plain flour and then in the potato batter. Fry the prepared fillets in hot oil. Sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
