Prepare this delicacy and you will see that you will not regret it! It will take you only a few minutes to prepare the dish and you will have a delicious full-fledged lunch
The most delicious mincemeat roll:
What we will need:
- 500 g minced meat
- 200 g hard cheese
- 300 ml kefir
- 2 onions
- 1 egg
- 200 g plain flour
- 2 potatoes
- Salt
- Spices
- Herbs
How we will proceed:
1. Put the meat in a bowl, add the eggs, salt, pepper and herbs. Peel the onion and chop finely. Add it to the meat mixture and knead everything thoroughly with your hands until the mixture is smooth and all the ingredients are perfectly combined.
2. Now take the mixture and try to shape it into a rectangle. Once you’ve done that, place it on a piece of cling film. Take your chosen cheese and grate it on a grater into small pieces. Sprinkle it over the meat and roll it into a roll using the food foil. Now put them in the freezer to rest for forty minutes.
3. Just before removing, prepare the dough in which you will wrap the cutlets. Peel the potatoes, wash them thoroughly and grate them on a fine grater. The smaller the pieces, the better for you. Then take a larger bowl and mix them with kefir, egg, flour, salt, black pepper and use a blender to create a smooth, homogeneous mixture.
4. Now you can take out the minced meat and cut it into rounds. Then, one by one, coat them in the batter and, in the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the coated cutlets on both sides until golden brown. Then place them on paper towels to soak up the excess fat.
