Homemade cheesecake snails with raisins and pudding

What we will need:

for the dough:

  • 450 g flour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 80 g granulated sugar
  • 50 g melted margarine
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • pinch of salt

for the filling:

  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 300 ml milk raisins
  • grated lemon peel
  • 1 packet of vanilla custard
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

How we will proceed:

1. Prepare the yeast in the milk and let it stand. Mix the flour with the sugars, margarine, egg and finally add the remaining milk and yeast mixture. Work the dough, cover it and leave it to rise in a warm place for a few hours.

2. Mix the milk with the sugars and pudding and prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the packet. Once cooled, add the cottage cheese, raisins and lemon zest and mix well.

3. Roll out the pastry into a rectangle and cover it all over with the prepared filling.

4. Finally, roll it up like a classic roll and cut into individual rounds.

5. Bake them on a baking sheet with baking paper, well spaced and brushed with egg at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

6. Sprinkle them generously with icing sugar before serving.
