A delicious recipe for apple pie with walnuts:
What we will need:
- 150 g walnuts
- 200 g crystal sugar
- 2 apples
- juice of half a lemon
- 200 g plain flour
- teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- icing sugar (on top)
How we will proceed:
1. Start by washing the apples thoroughly, peel them and cut them into small pieces.
2. Mix these small pieces with sugar and lemon juice. Mix and put them in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.
3. Crush the walnuts this easy.
4. Mix the nuts with the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
5. Now mix your egg yolks with the apple mixture.
6. Now add the apple mixture to the nut mixture. Mix thoroughly.
7. Next, whip the egg whites and a pinch of salt into a stiff snow. This snow is then added to our mixture.
8. Mix thoroughly and layer this mixture into the cake pan that you have lined with baking paper.
