
Viennese potatoes with extra delicious sauce. A great idea for a side dish or main dish that you can prepare quickly and really easily. The secret lies in the right combination of ingredients to create one perfect dish that can also replace the main course. The topping is a combination of bacon, butter and whipped cream.

Viennese potatoes with extra sauce
What we will need:
- 500 g potatoes
- 150 g bacon, chopped finely
- 1 large onion
For the sauce:
- 100 ml whipping cream (or cooking cream)
- parsley
- a knob of butter (about 1-2 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon mustard to taste
How we will proceed:
1. Clean the potatoes, cut them into cubes and boil them in salted water.
2. Fry the bacon in a frying pan, then add the onion and when it turns golden, stir in a knob of butter.
3. Drain the potatoes, add to the pan with the onion mixture and stir in the cream.
4. Let simmer for a while to reduce the mixture and then garnish with parsley (or chives) and serve. You can also add a little mustard.
