The preparation is absolutely easy and will not take you any extra time. They take just as long to prepare as classic potato cakes. However, they are still several steps ahead in terms of taste.
Crispy potato cakes stuffed with ham and cheese
What we will need:
- 500 g potatoes
- Oil for frying
- Salt
- Pepper
- Ham
- Cheese
How we will proceed:
1. Boil the potatoes in their skins. Drain after cooking and let cool.
2. Then peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Add salt and pepper.
3. Heat the oil in a pan. Scoop out a portion of potatoes and place in the pan. Shape into a circle. Fry this patty on both sides until golden brown.
4. Then place the ham and cheese between the two patties. Put the potato pancakes in the oven to bake for a few more minutes.
