
Today we have prepared a recipe for a classic delicious treat. This apricot pudding treat really is unbeatable and very easy to prepare! Prepare this delicacy and you will see that you will not regret it!

Pudding treat with apricots
What we will need:
- puff pastry – 0,5 kg or two ready-made sheets
- vanilla-flavoured pudding – 2 packets
- apricot compote – 2 bottles
- whole milk – 1 l
- biscuits – 250 g
- icing sugar – 7 tablespoons + to sprinkle on the dessert
- butter – to grease the baking tray
How we will proceed:
1. If you bought the classic frozen puff pastry, let it thaw first.
2. Divide the dough in half and roll out both halves. Then take a baking tray, grease it with butter and spread the rolled out or already prepared sheet of pastry on it. Place the biscuits on top of the dough and drizzle them with the juice from the apricot compote.
3. The next layer consists of the cooked apricots that you have previously cut into smaller pieces.
4. Mix two sachets of custard powder in 100 ml of whole milk. Bring 900 ml of milk and the icing sugar to the boil, add the milk and custard powder and cook over a low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove the pudding, allow to cool partially and then layer it on top of the apricots.
5. Cover the cream with the other half of the pastry or another already prepared sheet.
6. Preheat the oven to 170 °C, place a baking tray in it and bake the dessert for approximately 35 minutes, depending on the type and power of the oven.
7. Before the end, sprinkle with icing sugar.
