Recipe for an incredibly delicious chocolate dessert:

What we will need:

Baking tray 24 × 24 cm

For the base:

  • 0.5 cup wheat flour
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa

For the cream:

  • 1 cube butter/margarine (200/250 g)
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 cups milk powder
  • 0.5 cup sugar

For the cream:

  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 150 ml 30% cream

Mould 24 x 24 cm

How we will proceed:

1. Mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Gradually add the sugar and beat until stiff.

2. Add the egg yolks and mix briefly until combined.

3. Add the flour and cocoa to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Be careful not to leave any dry powder on the bottom.

4. Pour the sponge cake into a baking tin lined with baking paper and place in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 15 minutes.

5. Boil the milk and sugar in a saucepan and then leave to cool;

6. Beat the butter with a mixer. Gradually add the cooled milk, whisking constantly;

7. Add the milk powder 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring continuously. The mixture should be smooth and homogeneous.

8. Put the crushed chocolate in a saucepan, add the cream and heat over low heat until combined. Remove and allow to cool;

9. Meanwhile, brush the cooled sponge cake with light milk cream.

10. Briefly whisk in the mascarpone cheese and then add the chocolate mixture a tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly. You should get a smooth chocolate cream;

11. Spread the chocolate cream over the top of the cake and refrigerate – preferably overnight.
