Recipe for Nutella dessert topped with almonds:
What we will need:
Dough:
- 500 g plain flour
- 250 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 80 g crystal sugar
- 8 g yeast
- 60 ml oil
Filling:
- 100 g Nutella
- 50 g ground almonds
- 20 g butter
- 10 g chopped almonds
How we will proceed:
1. Mix the milk, yeast, eggs and sugar. Mix thoroughly.
2. Add the flour and oil.
3. Make a nice smooth dough and let it rest under plastic wrap and a tea towel for 60 minutes.
4. After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured rolling pin.
5. In a bowl, mix the Nutella with the ground almonds.
6. Cut the dough as you can see in the picture below and spread our Nutella mixture on both halves.
7. In the next step, start creating your individual braids.
8. Once you have the edges thoroughly joined, simply braid the braids together. We get a kind of a Christmas cookie.
9. Place our bundt cake in a baking pan and let it rest under a towel for 20 minutes.
10. After the time has elapsed, brush the brioche with egg wash and sprinkle with almonds.
11. Bake at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes.
