Chicken Rolls on Skewers Filled with Cheese and a Fantastic Yogurt-Mustard Sauce
What we will need:
- 500 g chicken breasts
- 8 slices of cheese
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 3 eggs
- breadcrumbs
For the sauce:
- 3 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
How we will proceed:
1. Cut the chicken breasts horizontally in half.
2. On a solid surface, cover them with foil and pound them out. Place the pounded chicken breasts on food wrap. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Layer slices of cheese.
4. Tightly wrap the meat and place it in the freezer for two hours.
5. For breading: Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk with a fork. Pour the egg mixture onto a plate.
6. After the set time, remove the roll from the freezer and cut it into slices.
7. Skewer three chicken rolls on one skewer. Dip the rolls in the egg and then coat them in breadcrumbs.
8. Arrange the coated skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the sheet in a preheated oven (180 °C) and bake for 30 minutes.
Sauce: In a small bowl, add yogurt. Add mustard and Dijon mustard. Add lemon juice. Finally, season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
