Homemade bounty cake with amazing cream – save this recipe!

Bounty cake

What we will need:

For the batter:

  • 200 g flour (semi-coarse)
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar (crystal)
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa

Coconut filling:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g butter or margarine
  • 6 tablespoons semolina
  • 200 g coconut

For the topping:

  • 40 ml of water
  • 120 g sugar (crystal)
  • 40 g cocoa
  • 80 g cream
  • 1 packet of powdered gelatine

How we will proceed:

1) In a medium bowl, mix butter and sugar, gradually start adding eggs and other ingredients for the cuts. Beat thoroughly until a uniform mixture.

2) Next, layer the mixture in a 20×30 baking dish and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 170 degrees.

3) Put the sugar and milk together on the stove and bring to a boil – then add the remaining ingredients for the filling.

4) Just layer the finished filling on top of the baked slices.

5) Next, prepare the topping – bring the sugar and water to the boil. Mix thoroughly and then add the cocoa. Prepare the gelatine in cream according to the instructions on the package. Mix the two mixtures together and the frosting is ready.

6) Layer the frosting over the coconut filling and you’re done!
