  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs, 10 sprigs of parsley

  • 300 ml water, 1,5 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 1/4 tsp oil
  • 250 g Cheddar cheese

How we will proceed:

1. First, clean the potatoes, cut them into 3-4 pieces and put them in a pot of water to boil. Once they are cooked through enough, mash them, add salt, pepper, paprika and butter and mix. Let the mashed potatoes cool.

Chicken cutlets in spicy sauce

What we will need:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • salt, ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 KL chilli peppers
  • 1 KL crushed cumin seeds
  • 500 g chicken stock (broth)
  • 1 tbsp fine starch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 KL cane sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic

How we will proceed:

1. Slice the chicken breasts thinly, season with salt and pepper and fry in hot oil (2 minutes on each side).

2. Remove the fried meat from the pan, add the chilli and crushed cumin to the fat and fry for about one minute.

3. Pour in the stock, add the soy sauce, sugar, starch dissolved in a little water and bring to the boil.

4. Return the meat to the sauce and cook, covered, over a low heat for about 20 minutes.

5. Finally, season the sauce with salt to taste and serve with, for example, potato chips or steamed rice.

Gingerbread roll

What we will need:

Dough:

  • 5 eggs
  • 5 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 5 tablespoons semi-coarse flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon gingerbread baking powder

For the cream:

  • 250 g butter
  • vanilla homemade caramel
  • fudge

For garnish:

  • caster sugar
  • white chocolate
  • dried fruit

How we will proceed:

1. Beat the egg whites into stiff snow. Next, whisk the sugar with the egg yolks and slowly whisk in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and finally the egg white snow into the egg mixture.

2. Spread the batter on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, bake for about 10 min.

3. Roll up the still warm roll and let it cool.

4. For the cream, whip the butter until foamy and add caramel to taste, I used the smaller jar I had.

5. Brush the cooled pastry with the fudge and cream, roll up the roulade, drizzle with chocolate and decorate with dried fruit.

6. Put in the fridge to set, preferably until the next day.

  • 600 g plain flour
  • vegetable oil 15 ml
  • a little milk, kefir, egg (for spreading)

How we will proceed:

1. Start by mixing kefir, baking soda, flour and salt. Mix thoroughly and work into a nice uniform dough, which you brush with oil to make it easier to work with.
